Runtime calculator
Power Station Runtime Calculator
Runtime = capacity (Wh) × 0.85 ÷ load (W). An Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 (1,024 Wh) at 100 W: about 8.7 hours.

Why 0.85
The 0.85 covers the loss when the station makes 120 V AC. Anker (guide) and Jackery (Explorer 550 FAQ) use it too. BLUETTI’s manuals instead use 90% depth of discharge × inverter efficiency (over 90%) ÷ (load + the station’s own draw) (manual). For BLUETTI we add that own draw to the load.

What devices draw
Labels show a maximum. These are traced figures; your own label wins.
| Device | Typical draw | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Fridge, US average | 70.4 W averaged (617 kWh a year) | EIA |
| CPAP, AirSense 10 | 7 W; 22 W with humidifier; 34 W with heated tube | ResMed |
| Laptop | 50 W | Virginia Tech |
| LED bulb, 60 W equivalent | 8.5 W | Philips |
| 12 V fridge, Dometic CFX3 35 | about 12 W averaged (at 90°F room, 39°F inside) | Dometic |
| Starlink Standard | 75–100 W | Starlink |
| Space heater | 400–1,500 W | OCWR |
What changes the answer
- USB‑C and 12 V skip the inverter, so they run longer than the table shows.
- Own draw. BLUETTI lists about 9 W for the Elite 30 V2. With a CPAP or router, that’s as big as the load.
- Motors. Some start at 2–4 times their rated power, per BLUETTI’s manuals. Surge ratings are on each station page; BLUETTI’s spec table lists none.
- Cold. Most of these can’t charge below 32°F; see each station page. The calculator can take off 15% as an allowance.
- Battery age. Plan for 90% or 80% in the advanced calculator.
Quick answers
How long will a 1,000 Wh power station last?
About 17 h at 50 W, 8.5 h at 100 W, 4.3 h at 200 W.
Can it run my house?
Not on its own. Connecting to house circuits is a job for a licensed electrician.
