Charging
How long does a power station take to charge?
By the makers’ figures, most of these stations go from empty to 80% or full in about 45 minutes to 2.2 hours from a wall outlet. From a car socket it takes many hours: 12 h for the Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 with its 12 V adapter and 23 h for the Anker SOLIX C2000 Gen 2 at 100 W.

The makers’ own figures, read Oct 24, 2026. “Our math” = Wh ÷ input watts, a lower bound, since some energy is lost while charging.
Read the fine print
Several makers quote 0–80% rather than a full charge, or a time with a fast mode turned on: Anker’s UltraFast Charging and Jackery’s Emergency Super Charge (both in the maker’s app), and BLUETTI’s Turbo Charging. Anker says to use UltraFast Charging only when necessary, to prolong the battery’s life.
Charging from a car
Where the makers give a 12 V figure, these stations take about 96–100 W from a car socket (about 200 W from a 24 V one), so a 1,000–2,000 Wh station takes from about half a day to a day. Anker lists an 800 W alternator charger for the S5000.

Quick answers
How long does it take to charge a 1,000 Wh power station?
From a wall outlet, about 45 minutes to 1.8 hours by the makers’ figures: the Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 in 1.58 h (1 h with Emergency Super Charge turned on in the Jackery app), the BLUETTI AC180 to 80% in 45 min and full in about 1.3–1.8 h, and the Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 in 49 min with UltraFast Charging turned on in the Anker app.
Can I charge a power station in my car?
Yes, from the car socket, but slowly: 12 h for the Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 with its 12 V car adapter and 23 h for the Anker SOLIX C2000 Gen 2 at 100 W, by the makers’ figures.
How long does it take to charge with solar?
It depends on the panels and the sun. At each station’s full solar input, the 18 stations here need about 1.4–6.8 sun hours by our math; see solar recharge time.
