12 V fridges
How long will a power station run a 12 V fridge?
A 12 V compressor fridge like the Dometic CFX3 35 averages about 12 W on a hot day, so the 286 Wh EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus runs it about 20.3 h and the 1,070 Wh Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 about 3.2 days.

Dometic lists the CFX3 35 at 0.98 Ah per hour at 12 V with a 32°C (90°F) room and 4°C (39°F) inside (Dometic): 0.98 × 12 ≈ 11.8 W, about 12 W averaged. The compressor cycles on and off, so the average is far below its running draw; a cooler room, a full fridge and fewer lid openings bring it down further.
These hours use the same math as every page here: Wh × 0.85 ÷ (watts + the station’s own draw, where the maker lists it). At a load this small, own draw matters a lot. BLUETTI lists it for its stations and Anker for the C2000 Gen 2, so those rows are shorter; that figure may be measured with the AC outlets on, so on the 12 V outlet those stations can run longer than shown. Stations whose makers list no own draw will likely run shorter than shown.
A house fridge draws far more: see fridge runtime.
Quick answers
How long will a 300 Wh power station run a 12 V fridge?
Our math gives about 20.3 h on the 286 Wh EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus at a 12 W average; EcoFlow lists no own draw for it, so expect less; and about 11.7 h on the 288 Wh BLUETTI Elite 30 V2, including its listed 9 W own draw.
Should I plug a 12 V fridge into the car outlet or AC?
The 12 V car outlet, if the fridge has a 12 V plug: it skips the inverter. Check that the outlet’s amp rating covers the fridge’s running current.
